Kenny has been on the Detroit area scene for 20 plus years as the front man for “No Vacancy”. He is also currently helping out on vocals with “Sucker Punch”. His range and vocal timber is the perfect compliment for “Mojo Filter”

“Mr. Mojo” Mike Avanzini - Bass Guitar

Mike Avanzini is the musical veteran of “Mojo Filter” with 55 years experience. He is also currently playing with “Cooley Pope”. When we were looking for a fitting name for the band it was obvious “Mojo” would be in the title when we heard him play for the first time. Its amazing how an excellent bass player will make for a great band!

Keith Root - Drums

Keith has 44 years of drumming experience and has spent the last 20 plus years drumming for “No Vacancy”. Keith has constantly been working on his chops and timing for years and now “Mojo Filter” gets all the benefits from his efforts. Locking in tightly with “Mr. Mojo” and giving us the ability to play great covers that sound simple but really aren’t. “Mojo Filter” Really took off when we got these two guys in the same room.

“Silk” Mike Brown - Lead Guitar

Mike Brown brings all the sophisticated guitar tones to “Mojo Filter”. From Lead to rhythm and beyond. He has 35 years of musical experience and is constantly looking for new tones. The glue he brings to “Mojo Filter” is undeniable and once you hear him play, you will get why they call him “Silk” Mike also tours with local rising country artist “Kat Beal”

“Dno” Dean Jones - Rhythm Guitar

Dno has been a sound man for the last 30 plus years mixing for a host of bands around town. He spent 13 years at the board mixing for “The Groove Council” and got the itch to start playing again so he went on a six yer quest to put a band together worthy of joining the Detroit area music scene. Looks like he finally nailed it with “Mojo Filter”
